“2900 Happiness” is here!
The intro says it all; ruthless intrigues, tenacious villains, and hot new talents. Tune in, when Denmark’s biggest drama show, “2900 Happiness”, produced by Nordisk Film, is aired on TV3 at 7.30pm.
The show is set in Hellerup, North of Copenhagen – zip code 2900. Jan Erik von Bech is the successful estate agent and the natural choice as the heir to one of Hellerup’s mightiest companies. He marries former model Maibritt “Majse” Skovgaard. However, the idyllic scene is disturbed when Jan Erik’s father decides, who will take over the company.
“2900 Happiness” is the most ambitious take on a Danish soap like “Dallas” and “Dynasty”, and the film-like visual look and the impressive cast shows that it is Denmark’s – maybe all of Europe’s – biggest ever drama production! The show is produced by Nordisk Film TV for TV3.
At the pre-screening in the Imperial cinema, the audience was quickly caught by the intrigues of the show, and there were laughs at the well-written dialogue and yells at the villains. Likewise, the cast inspired much joy and applause. The cast includes well-known Danish actors Malene Schwartz and Peter Reichhardt, as well as the talented Christiane Schaumburg-Müller, who plays Mercedes von Bech, Denmark’s Paris Hilton.
“2900 Happiness” is on the air from Monday, September 17 at 7.30 pm on TV3.
Danes can follow the scheming and pompous lives of the rich every Monday till Thursday for the first 48 episodes .
