Nordisk Film\PLAY cooperates with Danish media star

Former Danish news anchor Morten Løkkegaard will be helping Nordisk Film\Play develop content through media training and storytelling.

Nordisk Film\Play, who develop online TV channels for companies and organizations, has entered into a partnership with Løkkegaard Communications, which is headed by Morten Løkkegaard, a well-known Danish media face, who now has his own company.

Together with Løkkegaard, Nordisk Film\Play is talking to a range of big companies and organizations, who want to take full advantage of their potential in relation to branding, communications and increased sales online.

Head of Nordisk Film\PLAY, Rasmus Steentoft, says: “It is our vision to become Europe’s leading provider of ready-to-go TV channels on the internet. And if you want to be the best, attractive content is a significant prerequisite. That is why I am very happy that Morten Løkkegaard – a capacity in development of unique, trustworthy content of high quality – will now be cooperating with our company.”

New media, new story structure
Morten Løkkegaard says: “Online TV is an incredibly exciting area, and I expect a lot from this cooperation with Nordisk Film\PLAY. Part of what makes online TV special, is the way in which you communicate things. Traditional TV tells its story in a linear manner, from A to Z. Here, we have the opportunity to develop a new story structure, which allows the viewers to choose for themselves. In a time when consumers are critical of traditional advertising, we see this modern form of storytelling as a great advantage.”

Nordisk Film\Play was established in November 2007 as a strategic alliance between Nordisk Film and TBWA\Play, a digital division of worldwide advertising agency TBWA. The company operates within development and production of brand channels – the companies’ own consumer-oriented online TV stations.
