Nordisk Film is the world’s oldest producing film company. In 1906 Ole Olsen founded Nordisk Film Company with the desire to create motion pictures. Since then our polar bear has been a true trademark on the big screen.
Film production is where a film takes shape. Here the original idea is developed into a thoroughly prepared script ready for production. Next step is the shooting of the scenes. Film production is the actual physical process of creating the film.
Nordisk Film produces feature productions, documentaries and animated movies. We are based in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. Furthermore we often join forces with other European partners to create big international co-productions.
