Solar Films has been a market leader in the Finnish film industry for years and it’s one of the largest private TV production companies in the country.
“Dark Floors”, a horror movie starring Finnish hard rockers Lordi, is the first joint project between Solar Films and Nordisk Film.
Apart from selling Solar Films’ projects abroad, Nordisk Film will handle distribution throughout the Nordic countries.
In Finland Nordisk Film produces TV and distributes movies, games and music. Furthermore, Nordisk Film owns part of Matila Röhr Productions and recently entered distribution agreements with Kinotar and Kinoproduction.
