2900 Happiness
The setting is the posh suburb of Hellerup, north of Copenhagen – with the zipcode 2900. Successful real estate agent Jan Erik Von Bech is the natural choice to carry on the legacy of Hellerup’s most powerful company, KE Invest. He is getting married to model Maibritt Skovgaard, who is known to Hellerup locals as Majse. On the surface, the couple seems to be the perfect match, but the picture-perfect façade soon starts to crumble.

At the wedding, Jan Erik’s extremely wealthy father, Karl Erik, who is also the CEO of KE Invest, takes great interest in Majse’s successful older brother, Sten, who is the resident legal council for Lego International. Before long, Sten has moved his family from the provincial town of Holbæk to Hellerup, and has taken possession of the board office at KE Invest. And the drama begins…

Seven men aged 67 or older are put together in a group. They don’t like cooking. They think young people pollute the public space with their ever chipping mobiles. They believe fitness centres and power walking were invented by aliens. In this programme seven grumpy old men have to revise their strongest beliefs. In the end they might end up understanding their own children, grandchildren, and other modern stuff. Perhaps all they learn is to trust their own grumpiness. But they will learn it all laughing!
