The red studios in Valby are a landmark of Nordisk Film. A century ago founder Ole Olsen shot Nordisk Film’s first movies here. The world’s oldest existing studio – Studio 2 – was built in 1910. Today it still stands fully functional on the compound.
The Valby-facilities are now used exclusively for television productions. Feature films and commercials are housed in the modernized facilities located in Risby.
The studios in Valby and Risby can be rented for all purposes.
