A Night at the Movies
Nordisk Film is proud to run the largest chain of movie theaters in Denmark with 16 modern cineplexes in Denmark and one in Norway.
In 2009 alone, we sold 6.2 million Danish tickets. This means that Nordisk Film Cinemas is responsible for half of all ticket sales in Denmark.
Nordisk Film’s cinemas not only screen the movies, we have produced or distribute ourselves. We show movies from all suppliers – national as well as international.
Nordisk Film Cinemas is at the forefront of the technological development. We were the first in Denmark to invest in equipment for digital cinema screening, so that our guests can experience the best in picture quality with clear colors and sharp definition.
Digital 3D is THE thing in movies right now, and Nordisk Film Cinemas is very well-represented in this field as well. As of July 2010, 18 of our theaters have Digital 3D capability.
