Zentropa (DK) – Nordisk Film owns 50 % of the shares in Zentropa Folket Aps. A fourth of the company is owned by founders Lars von Trier and Peter Aalbæk Jensen, and the last 25% is owned by employees and others with a close connection to the company. Zentropa’s main focus is producing quality movies for an international audience, but they also make low-budget movies as well as Scandinavian, European, and American co-productions.

Maipo Film & Tv-produksjon AS (NO) – is a leading production company in the Norwegian movie business. The company’s goal is to develop and produce at least two quality feature films for the Norwegian market every year. At least one of these should be among the three most popular movies in local cinemas. Maipo prioritizes the Norwegian market, but is also actively engaged in strengthening the commercial potential for Norwegian film in the rest of the Nordic region.

Neofilm (NO) – is an up-and-coming company in the Norwegian production business. Lately, the company has had great succes with the animated feature “Pelle Police Car”. Head of the company is Aage Aaberge, who has over 25 year of experience from Norwegian film production.

Matila Röhr Nordisk Oy (FI) – is one of Finland’s biggest film companies and has made more than 30 feature films as well as TV series and documentaries. MRP also has solid experience with international co-productions. The company is owned by Marko Röhr and Ilkka Matila and Nordisk Film.

Solar Films Inc. (FI) – is also one of Finland’s leading production companies, and they make feature film and TV production. Movies produced by Solar have won more than 30 Finnish Film Awards and audience awards. The company is owned by Markus Selin (Head of Production) and Nordisk Film.
