New Head of Nordisk Film Production AS in Norway appointed

Sveinung Golimo, one of the most experienced profiles in Norwegian film, is appointed new Head of Nordisk Film Production AS in Norway. He is currently Head of Department, Production and Development at the Norwegian Film Institute. 

Nordisk Film has appointed Sveinung Golimo as new Head of Film Production in Norway. He will be replacing Aage Aaberge, who wishes to dedicate himself full-time as a producer. 

Sveinung Golimo is one of the most experienced profiles in Norwegian film. The past four years he has held the position as Head  of Department, Production and Development at the Norwegian Film Institute. He has more than 20 years of experience in the film and TV business, primarily as a producer in Filmkameratene. Here, he has been behind 10 feature films and 3 TV series, among them the blockbuster ”Max Manus” (2008), the international successful ”Trollhunter” (2010) and the critically acclaimed TV series ”The Heavy Water War” (2015). 

Nordisk Film Production is behind Norwegian film successes such as ”Kon-Tiki” (2012) and the recent ”12th Man” (2017). The appointment of Sveinung Golimo is part of the company’s strategy of becoming the leading film producer in the Nordics.

Sveinung Golimo joins the position as Head of Nordisk Film Production AS in Norway in the fall. He looks forward to the new challenge.
