Headhunters passes half a million!

Monday, October 10th, on its 46th day in Norwegian cinemas, Morten Tyldum's thriller, Headhunters, sold ticket number 500,000.

This makes it the second most popular Norwegian film in 10 years, only surpassed by Max Manus.

In addition, Headhunters' success in Danish cinemas continues, where it has now passed 120,000 movie tickets, which is nearly four times as many as any other Norwegian film has ever sold in Denmark.

"When the dream of selling over half a million tickets in Norway becomes reality and also to see the film succeed in Denmark, it just feels crazy. It is like a dream that will never end," a very happy and satisfied producer, Asle Vatn, says.

Headhunters premiered August 26th in 200 cinemas all over Norway and September 22nd in Denmark.
