Kon-Tiki is nominated for the EFA PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD 2013

The EFA PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD gives fans across Europe the opportunity to vote online for their favorite European movies.

Since 1997, the EFA PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD has involved movie-goers all over Europe in order to strengthen European films. Previous winners of the award are "The King's Speech", "Slumdog Millionaire", "Volver", "Gegen die Wand" and "Amélie".

Producer Aage Aaberge says: "I am incredibly proud that our film Kon-Tiki is once again acknowledged on an international scale. This time with a nomination for the European people's choice award. This makes Kon-Tiki the largest international success in Norwegian film history".

The winner will be announced on the 26th European Film Awards Ceremony on 7 December in Berlin, which will be streamed live on http://europeanfilmawards.eu and broadcasted across Europe.
