Nordisk Film Games ramps up organization: hires Director of Partnerships

Sofie Filt Læntver will join Nordisk Film Games as of October 1st.

Since 2017, Nordisk Film Games has invested more than USD 150m (EUR 130m) in Nordic computer game studios. Now, Nordisk Film Games – a part of the entertainment company Nordisk Film, owned by the Egmont media group – will step up its business development and ability to forge new strategic partnerships. 

To spearhead these efforts, Sofie Filt Læntver will join Nordisk Film Games as Director of Partnership as of October 1st, 2018. She is currently Managing Director of Interactive Denmark, a non-profit community-based organization with a mission to accelerate the Danish game and interactive industry. Sofie Filt Læntver holds a MA in Visual Culture and Innovation from the University of Copenhagen and possesses deep knowledge of the Nordic game industry. 

“We have, in less than two years, build a sizeable portfolio of computer game studios and we have an appetite for more investments. Now it is time to develop strategic partnerships. We also want to strengthen collaboration across our investments and work closer with our network of gaming experts. Sofie Filt Læntver will inject deep knowledge, innovation power and unique networking capabilities to Nordisk Film Games.
