Nordisk Film sells Euro Broadcast Hire

Swedish company Twentyfourseven take over rental of professional equipment for film and TV production.

Nordisk Film has made an agreement with Swedish company Twentyfourseven about the sale of Euro Broadcast Hire (EBH), which delivers professional technical equipment for TV and film production.

The sale happens as part of the continuous, strategic focusing of Nordisk Film's business.
The sale is official as of July 1, 2010, and includes all activities in Euro Broadcast Hire. The parties involved have agreed not to disclose the sales amount.

Ulrik Rasch, General Manager of Nordisk Film Operations, says:

"In the past few years, we have focused our business in Nordisk Film, and this year we have announced the best annual result ever. Selling EBH is a further step in this process.

We are very happy to have found the best possible solution. Under the ownership of Twentyfourseven, EBH will have the optimal conditions for further development as part of a strong business with equipment rental as their core competency."

For a long time, the Danish market for renting professional film and broadcasting equipment has been characterized by fierce competition between a number of players. The consolidation, which is a natural consequence of Twentyfourseven's take-over of EBH activities, means that the company will now be one of the most prominent players in the market.
