Christoffer Feilberg is to be the new Managing Director of Venuepoint, which is responsible for Billetlugen etc. in Denmark. He will be replacing Kasper Schumacher, who is taking up a new position.
Kasper Schumacher, the present Managing Director of Venuepoint, has decided to seek out new challenges, so he will be leaving the company His replacement will be 50-year-old Christoffer Feilberg.
The new Managing Director of Venuepoint is an engineering graduate and has just completed an MBA. Most recently, he was the CEO and co-founder of the media agency Blackwood Seven and, for more than 15 years, has been working in the field of digital business models. Among other things, he previously acted as the Managing Director of Jobzonen and Emediate in Denmark.
"I would like to thank Kasper for our great collaboration over the years. It started when Venuepoint became a member of the Nordisk Film family in 2102. "At the same time I would like to extend a warm welcome to Christoffer. We have opted for an experienced CEO with obvious digital competencies. We believe that Christoffer is the right person to lead the team that will realise Venuepoint's ambitions for growth in Scandinavia," says Christian Folden Lund, Nordisk Film's Digital Director.
Venuepoint is owned by Nordisk Film, which is part of Egmont. Venuepoint operates and owns the ticket portal Billetlugen in Denmark and corresponding portals in Sweden and Norway.
"Venuepoint has a business model that fits in really well with my skills and ambitions. The digital initiatives and the expertise they have developed at Nordisk Film are incredibly exciting," says Christoffer Feilberg.
During September, the duties will be handed over, and the change of manager will be effective no later than 1 October.
"After four interesting and very insightful years at Venuepoint the time has come to try something new. I got a fantastic job as director at Skånes Djurpark, which I am very much looking forward to, but of course I will miss all my good colleagues and customers," says Kasper Schumacher.
