In 2015, Nordisk Film Fonden awarded Nordisk Film Prisen in Norway for the first time.
Nordisk Film Prisen in Norway is a talent award of NOK 100,000. In 2019 the same prize was awarded in Finland.
The talent award is to honor a film talent behind the camera, which has particularly distinguished itself in one of the year's film productions and which helps to raise the quality and further develop respectively Norwegian and Finnish films. The awards are awarded at local events. Nordisk Film Fonden has since 1996 awarded a similar award in Denmark.
