Privacy Policy

1.    Datacontroller

Nordisk Film Production A/S, Mosedalvej 14, 2500 Valby, CVR nr.: 25 68 81 63 collects and processes your personal data.  

2.    Purpose and legal basis for processing

In order to fulfill our contract (“the Contract”) with you regarding the movie or TV-series (“the Production”) to which we hold the producer’s right and to which you have contributed (either as an author, eg. as scriptwriter, filmdirector, actor, photographer, music composer etc., background cast member, eg. extras or as another type of contributor, eg. investor) we collect and process your personal data. 

The collecting and processing of your personal information is necessary in order for us to document the rights we have aquired and/or to pay royalties or any allotments to you as fulfillment of the Contract.  

3.    Information we collect and process

We collect and process the following personal information: name, national identification number, address, e-mail and bank information.  

4.    Retention period

As movies and tv-series are protected by the Danish Copyright Act until 70 years after the death of the last of the authors, we are obliged to retain and process your personal information for as long as the Production is protected by copyright or as long as any other applicable legislation requires. 

5.    Transfer of information 

We may disclose personal data to affiliate or subsidiary companies, as well as professional advisors in accordance with applicable data protection laws

Our employees, agents, business partners, vendors and/or suppliers may have access to your personal data on a limited as needed basis in order to deliver a service to us or to enable them to act on our behalf in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

We reserve the right to use or disclose any information as needed to satisfy any law, regulation or legal request, to conduct investigations of complaints or possible breaches of law, to fulfil your requests or to co-operate with any legal investigation.

Transfer of personal data is conducted in compliance with legal requirements, including concluding appropriate data processor agreements with our data processors, to ensure that personal data is not processed for other purposes than clearly stated and to ensure adequate security measures. 

The personal data that we collect from you may be transferred to and stored at a location outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). If personal data is transferred outside of the EEA we ensure an adequate level of security by transferring to countries approved by the European Commission as having an adequate level of protection, or by entering into contracts between us and the non-EEA entity receiving the personal data.

Upon request, we will provide you with a summary of the personal data that relates to you and which is processed by us, request that incorrect personal data be rectified, deleted, or changed, request restriction, data portability or object to us processing your data by contacting using the contact details described below in clause 8.
